‘I definitely agree we need to get the ball rolling on road games. It comes down to starting fast. We need to start faster on the road and make plays. You can’t look around to see who is going to make a play, but instead you must look at yourself to make the play. Playing on the road is tough. Aside from not being able to hear and communicate, it’s a you against the world mentality. We have to go in and change what’s happening on the road. There is no curse. It’s not like the Boston Red Sox curse, we just need to go out and play. We have won on the road before and we’re too good of a team to not do it on a consistent basis.

Hawkish predictions a little off in Seattle
‘The Seahawks come into Sunday’s matchup at Qwest Field against the Buffalo Bills (4-6) with a 6-4 record, not exactly reeling but not exactly shoo-ins to visit the White House, either.’
Handful of players returning to familiar surroundings
‘Milloy and Bledsoe haven’t played at home since their college days.’
Finances dictated decision to let Winfield jump to Vikings
‘Winfield is outstanding. However, teams must be very careful about how many players they’re willing to pay at the top of the pay scale at their respective positions. This, coupled with the fact the Bills had young talent at cornerback in the pipeline, made the decision to let Winfield go the prudent move. Winfield’s deal moved him up to roughly seventh among all cornerbacks, behind Champ Bailey, Ty Law, Charles Woodson, Chris McAlister, Sam Madison and Patrick Surtain.’
Bills’ Peters makes his impact
‘”If I was on the return team I would not want to block him,” Stamer said of Peters, a 6-foot-4, 328-pounder who can run as fast as the 242-pound Stamer. “He’s just a huge man. He’s coming down with speed, playing with an aggressive attitude. That’s something you can’t teach.”‘
Bledsoe comes home
‘Bledsoe’s completion percentage (56.1), quarterback rating (74.0), interception total (11) and record (4-6) serve as primers for the criticism. “It’s been a tough couple years on Drew and on the family,” Adam Bledsoe said. “Mainly, it’s tough because he’s received a lot of blame for things that are out of his control. Some of that comes with the position. The last two seasons, for some reason, there’s a lot of blame on him when they lose and no recognition when they win. Even when he’s playing well, people are screaming for his head.”‘

Buffalo Bills vs. Seattle Seahawks
‘A key turnover gives the Seahawks a 17-13 win.’
Bills much improved since S Milloy’s return
‘The Bills (4-6) have been much improved with Milloy back, winning three of their last five heading into Sunday’s game at Seattle. ”I don’t think that’s purely coincidence,” quarterback Drew Bledsoe said. ”He’s one of those special players that can actually elevate the guys around him. He brings such great intensity and such great accountability to the defense that I think definitely helps.”’
Bills CB Vincent hopeful he’ll return soon
‘Vincent, who’s missed seven games with a right knee injury, ran on his own before practice on Thursday and said his knee felt better than it has in some time. The trouble is, he felt this good two weeks ago before suffering a setback.’
Bills Games on Thanksgiving Day
‘Here’s a look back at the games the Buffalo Bills have been a part of on Thanksgiving Day…’
Bills’ Milloy, Bledsoe get to come home
‘Both players dreamed of being Seahawks, and Bledsoe was one draft pick away from becoming one. He was selected with the No. 1 overall selection in the 1993 draft, one pick ahead of Notre Dame quarterback Rick Mirer.’
Shaun has been Alexander The Great
‘Alexander leads the NFL in rushing with 1,151 yards. He’s tied for second in the NFL in total touchdowns with 13, and he has the best per-carry average of the league’s leading backs at 5.1 yards an attempt.’
Bledsoe to receive Man of Year award
‘Bledsoe will receive his award during the Monday Quarterback Club luncheon in the Harbour Club in HSBC Arena at 11:30 a.m. Monday. The award, which began in 1970 and was renamed in honor of the Hall of Famer in 1999, honors players who demonstrate outstanding balance in their lives between civic and professional responsibilities.’
Marv on Marv
‘Levy, as all Bills fans know, was not your typical football coach. So it’s no surprise this is not your typical football book.’
