‘Reed, fourth on the team with nine catches, didn’t practice all week after hurting his left knee last week against Arizona. Vincent practiced for the third straight day Friday, though he was limited. He hasn’t played since having arthroscopic knee surgery more than a month ago.’

Time to Separate Good, Bad, and Ugly
‘I think the Bills are starting to get more confidence. They’ve won two of their last three games and they’re doing it the old fashioned way, running the football. Willis McGahee has been running very affectively and has given this offense a spark. Travis Henry is still a great back and I think he’ll contribute to this team throughout the season. The important thing is that these two guys don’t lose focus of the team’s goal, and that’s winning. They can’t make this into an issue that divides the locker room.’
Jets are ready to face Adams
‘"You don’t block Sam Adams," coach Herman Edwards said. "You just try to aggravate him to go one way or another."’
Jets Fly into Town
‘Bills 19 Jets 17.’
Pucillo trying to remain positive despite bench time
‘"Of course it’s really depressing because I want to be out there," said Pucillo, a seventh-round draft pick in 2002. "But the situation is what it is. You’ve got to stay positive. You’ve got to just come in here and try to help the team any way you can in a backup role and be ready to play when the chance occurs."’
Young fan coming home for first time
‘"He’s been a Bills fan for years," his father said by phone Wednesday. "Don’t ask me how he started liking that team. He just happened to. He always has."’
Losman’s tenure will leave stamp on Donahoe’s legacy
‘That’s one positive in looking to the future. Donahoe has kept his promise of managing the cap and the Bills are well-positioned – from a salary cap standpoint – to succeed down the road.’
Bills face test in Jets’ fast, physical front four
‘Defensive ends John Abraham and Shaun Ellis, nose tackle Jason Ferguson and defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson form one of the NFL’s best D-lines. They have 17 of their team’s 20 sacks and are the main reason for the Jets’ remarkable defensive turnaround.’
Defensive line is helping Bills on the run
‘"To come in and help the offense score a couple touchdowns, I thought it was a great time," Bannan said. "It was very interesting being on that side of the ball and hitting the defenders. It was really unbelievable."’

Jersey Backers Share Common Allegiance
‘What do you get when you put a research meteorologist, ordained minister, broadcaster, cement truck driver and military member under one roof? No, it’s not the setup for a joke, but rather the Central New Jersey Bills Backers.’
Winning is long overdue for Bills
‘The 2-5 Bills only have wins over the lowly Miami Dolphins (1-7) and Arizona Cardinals (2-5). The Bills have been competitive in losses to teams with winning records this season (Jets, New England, Jacksonville and Baltimore), but hearing “nice try” isn’t good enough any more. The Bills keep saying they’re good enough to win. Now’s the time to prove it.’
Changes In Store For Vincent

Cowart might not be back against Buffalo
‘“I’d rather make sure I’m right before I get out there,” Cowart said Thursday. “That’s my concern. I want to come back rolling. I don’t want to come back trying to feel my way around. I’d rather wait that extra week or wait one more game to make sure I’m ready to roll.”’
Bills defenders have plan to shut down Jets RB Martin
”’It ain’t no challenge,” Williams said. ”We’ve just got to go out there and play hard like we do every Sunday.”’
