‘Henry, whose season is likely over, suffered the injury on the fourth play of the game. On a third-and-three, Henry caught a five-yard pass from Drew Bledsoe, was tackled by Seattle linebacker Isaiah Kacyvenski and had to be helped from the field.’

McGahee Paves Road Win
‘The 38-9 margin was Buffalo’s most lopsided road win in 14 years.’
Bills Break Loose On The Road
‘To me this game was won by good defense and Drew Bledsoe.’
Cheeseburgers Bring Paradise
‘”It’s been a long time since we’ve had the feeling of going on the road and beating somebody,” Bledsoe said. “We finished the game. That’s the big thing you can take out of this one. We didn’t allow them to climb back in it.”‘
Bills Shut Down Seahawks Run Game
‘”That was a big key,” Mularkey said referring to the fact that the Bills were able shut down Alexander and in the process hold the Seahawks to a season-low nine points. “He’s a dangerous back and I felt like that was the No. 1 priority to shut him down.”‘
Henry Suffers Broken Leg
‘Bills running back Travis Henry suffered a broken right leg on Buffalo’s first possession and will likely miss the remainder of the season.’
Impressive Play Needs to Transfer to Road
‘Seattle struggled against Miami last week and the Bills are a much better team. The Seahawks have been inconsistent this season and it will be interesting to see which team shows up against Buffalo. These teams are very evenly matched, both with strong running backs and defenses that can make big plays. It should be a good game.’
Running Game is Important
‘For whatever reason, the Seahawks blitzed Miami more than they blitzed other teams but we are prepared for it. We’ve seen their blitzing on film and we’ve worked on reacting to them. We’ll just have to see what their plan is for us.’
Bills Get Another Complete Win
For the second straight win the Bills have a complete team win. The offense made plays and put 38 points on the board while the defense totally shutdown the Seahawks offense. Special teams had their usual big play and it all added up to a Bills blow out win on the road. Here are our position by position grades, and they are very high for the second straight week:
Bills Blow Out Seahawks 38-9
The Bills knew the secret to winning on the road, but they couldn’t execute it. They knew they had to score early, stop making stupid penalties, and to avoid turnovers. Well, two out of three was more than enough as the Bills beat the Seahawks 38-9 in their most lopsided road win since 1990.
