‘Q: What have the last few years been like for you?

Bledsoe: “When you play this game, and particularly this position, it’s always going to be a little bit of a roller coaster. You’re going to have some dramatic ups and dramatic downs. The last few years it seems like there has been more downs then ups. At the same time I’m still excited about playing the game. I still really enjoy what I’m doing. I still feel like it’s just a tremendous privilege to play this game and to still be able to do it at the age of 32 is about the coolest thing I can think of. In spite of some hard times that we’ve been through as a team, and that I’ve been through on the field personally, I still come to work everyday excited about what’s going on and what I’m doing and look forward to every game.”‘

‘The Bills have been stingy against the run, however, allowing 101 yards per game to rank sixth in the NFL.’

‘With Bledsoe set to lead the Buffalo Bills (4-6) against Tobeck and the Seattle Seahawks (6-4) on Sunday, their friendship was evident when he was asked during a teleconference if he had any good dirt on Tobeck. ”I’ve got to go way back,” Bledsoe said. ”He was a horrible roommate when we were living together. He was kind of messy.”’

‘Teams traveling to the West Coast arrive earlier than normal in an effort to get acclimated to the time change. The Bills, for example, plan to arrive just after noon Saturday, requiring the team to add an extra meal to its itinerary.’

‘Willis McGahee never allowed that to happen. It took him 18 months to get back out on the field and take a hit again, that coming this past summer in training camp. It took hours and hours of rehab — sometimes eight hours at a time — just to get to have that chance.’
