‘And once rookie quarterback J.P. Losman’s fully recovered from his broken leg (which should be in a couple of weeks), Mularkey will be pressured to bench Drew Bledsoe in favor of the youngster. The veteran pivot is a sitting duck in the pocket. He’s been sacked 24 times already this year and has chucked seven interceptions. Last week alone Bledsoe was picked off four times and sacked four times in Buffalo’s 20-6 loss to Baltimore as a 4 ½-point dog.’

Bills Better Than Record Indicates
‘”They are almost just like us. We’ve got a lot of weapons and it is just a matter of getting the ball to people so they can make plays. They are similar in that they’ve got a lot of weapons and it is just a matter of time before they put everything together.”‘
QB Losman last of Bills first-round picks waiting to make debut
”’I think when J.P. gets healthy, I think it’s going to be a situation where the coach has got to look at that and say, `Is this the direction you want to go?”’ Moulds said. ”But I think if we get it turned around and get some wins, I think they’ll continue to stick with Drew and say: `This is our best chance to win.””

‘As part of the sweepstakes, winners took an NFL player to school with them on October 19 or October 26. On Tuesday, October 19, Brian Moorman visited 4th-grader Keith Vrotsos and his class at Armor Elementary in Hamburg. The day started when Brain picked Keith up at his home and they took a limousine to school. Once they arrived at the school Brian spoke to Keith and his classmates about the importance of in school and after school education. The morning didn’t stop there as Brian offered some football instruction to the young fans as he passed and kicked the ball to each of the 71 4th – graders. Bills Announce New Partnership with Jim Kelly Football Camp
‘"I am very excited about teaming up with the Buffalo Bills to continue doing something I love in the stadium where I spent my career," said Hall of Fame Quarterback Jim Kelly. "My football camp has always been very special to me and I truly enjoy working with kids and sharing my passion for the game."’
Bills Encourage Fans to Drive Home Safely
‘Bills President/General Manager Tom Donahoe said, "We want all of our fans to cheer us on to victory at the stadium against the Cardinals this Sunday and then take extra time and be extremely careful when driving home following the game. We realize a large number of children will be out in neighborhoods for Halloween and we strongly encourage fans returning home from the game to use extra caution to ensure the safety of everyone this Halloween."’
Rookies Celebrate Halloween
‘Over a dozen members of the Tops Rookie Club visited the patients, spending hours reading, talking, and signing autographs. They entered the ninth floor play room to cheers and the "Shout" song blaring on the radio. Tops Community Relations Manager Andy Brocato was also on hand to hand out gift bags to the children, each including bobble head dolls, mini footballs and drawing boards.’
Bills fumble the two-back approach
‘But Henry sees the opposite. “(Willis is) really the starter,” he said. “When my number is called, I get to go in there and do what I do. It’s a thing where if he’s out there and in a rhythm, stick with him. If he’s not in a rhythm, I go in and if I get in a rhythm, stay with me. We’re in this together and everybody’s got a role (but) I know I’m a starter … a good back in this league.” And it’s obvious he won’t be a Buffalo Bill next season.’
Bills tap McGahee for start
‘"In defense of Travis, he’s coming off that foot (injury). I’m not sure I can say he’s 100 percent, but he’s one of those tough guys who will play hurt. I know we’re getting production (from McGahee) when there’s a hole there and when there’s not a hole there. We’re getting more with Willis."’
Bledsoe: ‘I feel like I’ve done what I can’
‘"I will tell you that in looking at my own play, here is the situation, being completely honest with you," Bledsoe said. "I am the quarterback of a team that’s a power-running team. Yet we have not run for a touchdown through six games."’
