‘”We’re negotiating with four teams,” agent Peter Schaffer said on Friday, confirming that the Bills are among them. “When we find what we feel is the best situation for Jason, we’ll have a decision. But there’s no timetable.”‘

Brown Welcomes New Addition to Family

Bills want to tackle contract changes
‘”We felt that right now we have some (cap) room with what Drew did and we made some offers to see if the guys were interested, but it’s not a case of where it’s going to drag through the whole summer. Either they are interested or they’re not."’
Ask Vic: Couch sitting and Willis wondering
Q: I was wondering what you had to say about Willis McGahee’s recent development. Do you think he’ll be ready to take some carries this season or will we have to wait another year to judge if he was worth a first-rounder?
A: Gauging McGahee’s development is difficult, if not impossible, because all anyone has seen him do with the Buffalo Bills so far is stretch and run around in a jersey and shorts.
McDaniel returns home after solid AFL season
His agent is working on another NFL tryout. Since his last regular gig with the Buffalo Bills back in 2001, McDaniel has had tryouts with the San Francisco 49ers in 2002 and the San Diego Chargers in 2003. "I’m keeping my options open," he said. "If it happens that’s great. If not I will do my best to make it work out in the AFL."

Bills ready for a break
‘"They’ve progressively gotten better and better," Mularkey said. "Especially offensively, whether it’s a new system or not, you’re always behind. Yesterday was probably the best practice these guys have had. If you can move it on our defense, that’s pretty good. So I’m very pleased with where we are at right now."’
NFL Network hires preseason broadcast trio

The Broncos game will be at Ralph Wilson Stadium and will be the debut of Mike Mularkey’s head coaching career. The NFL Network is seen in 20 million homes, mostly on Directv.
Bills get some down time
‘”We’ve been here since March and it can definitely take a toll,” said backup defensive tackle Justin Bannan, who hails from Fair Oaks, Calif. “It’s good for the guys to get away, to go back to where we’re from, to keep doing the training and keep in shape, but do it somewhere else and rejuvenate your mind. It’s more mental than anything. This will allow us to come back ready to go.”‘
Transcript: Drew Bledsoe Q&A Session
‘The last couple days, we’ve finished installing and now we’re going back and reviewing. So it’s the second time through it in the last few weeks for us, so we were able to be a little bit sharper. When you’re just doing things for the very first time it’s hard to be extremely sharp, but we’ve made some strides.’
Transcript: Mike Mularkey Q&A Session
‘As far as the players, it progressively got better and better and they know that, especially offensively where you’re going to be behind no matter what if it’s a new system or what. Yesterday was probably the best practice these guys have had. If you can move it on our defense, that’s pretty good. I’m very please with where we are at right now.’
