Parking rate raised to $15
Without a press release or fanfare One Bills Drive has raised the rate to park at Buffalo Bills controlled lots to $15 from $10. Cars $15.00 (Drive 1-Drive 7)
Sam Gash chuckles when pondering how life goes in circles.
At 34, Gash is confident he still has some bruising blocks left in him. He replaces pass-catching fullback Larry Centers and is a clear signal that the Bills want to run the ball better and control the clock after getting into far too many shootouts in 2002.
“I think it attracted me here,” he said of the philosophical change. “I said, ‘If that’s what you want, I can do it.’ I’ve always prided myself on being one of the tough guys out there and enjoying the contact, and in the power running game, that’s what it’s all about.”
These 10 unheralded moves could supply just the boost a team needs
* Dick LeBeau to Buffalo – Most people overlook the fact that the Bills not only brought in Takeo Spikes, Jeff Posey and Sam Adams, but they also snagged LeBeau, a defensive mastermind, to be an assistant coach and help still-somewhat-green DC Jerry Gray devise a perfect defense. LeBeau’s influence should pay dividends, especially in the secondary, where the Bills have a handful of younger guys looking for a boost over the hump. It may not be as obvious, but LeBeau’s presence could make all the difference for this defense.

Cornerback giving back
‘“For me to come back here and work with some of the kids in my hometown was long overdue,” Winfield said. “I think it’s very important to give these talented kids a chance to meet someone who played on the same fields as they did. I’m hoping that they can look at me and see that if you work hard, you can be successful, not only on the football field, but in life.”’
Wolford named to KY Sports Hall of Fame
‘The 6-5, 295-pound Wolford enjoyed a stellar NFL career with the Buffalo Bills (1986-92), Indianapolis Colts (1993-95) and Pittsburgh Steelers (1996-98). Wolford played in three Super Bowls with the Bills and was named to the Pro Bowl three times (1990, 1992, 1995). He was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 1994.’
Wolford, Dawson to enter Kentucky Hall of Fame
‘Wolford now serves as majority owner of the Louisville Fire in the arenafootball2 league, but he once was the highest-paid offensive lineman in the NFL.’
Injury could cloud Bills’ sunny forecast
‘Bledsoe launched 610 passes last season. Alex Van Pelt, the veteran No. 2 quarterback, threw two, completed both for a total of five yards. Alex is 33, two years older than Bledsoe. He almost retired three years ago, putting his house on the market then taking it off and unretiring after Doug Flutie suffered a groin injury in the first week of training camp.’
DeHaven Has Special Shoes To Fill
‘"A great deal of what I do is Marv Levy’s organization," said DeHaven of the long-time Bills head coach. "He was one of the very first special teams coaches in the league. Like Parcells, Levy loved attention to the kicking game. The kicking game is just like offense and defense – you have to get better technique and better with your individual drills if you’re going to get better as a team. So, we’ve just tried to find drills to get guys better without having to work it as a team."’
Bills Fans Across America
My name is Carlos Maye & I am the Bills #1 Fan in Georgia. There are 2 words that sum up why I am Georgia's #1 Bills fan: Loyalty & Dedication. I have been a Bills fan ever since I attended my first Bills game at Orchard Park with my father at age 4. Being born & raised in Rochester, it is very tough to not be at every home game. I usually make it to at least 1 home game a year. Last year, I attended the Dolphins home game on my birthday. What a great birthday that was.
Flashback: Bills 42, Browns 0
The Buffalo Bills upped their winning streak to six games as they defeated the Cleveland Browns, 42-0, in a rematch of the 1989 AFC Divisional playoff. Buffalo scored on their first possession when RB Thurman Thomas ran in from three yards out. With 13:06 left in the second quarter, Thomas hit pay dirt again as he bolted in from 11 yards out. LB Shane Conlan blocked Cleveland's first FG attempt and the second attempt was foiled by a bad snap.
Buffalo Bills Bosters Club Photos
On Tuesday, June 24, Howard Simon was the guest speaker at the Buffalo Bills Bosters Meeting. In Howard’s talk he fielded questions and told about his view of the season. He thinks it will have to be a 12-4 team to win the East. He thinks the Bills have the possibility of being 11-5 team.
Ten ‘must stops’ on training camp tour
10. Last but not least, the Buffalo Bills. Tom Donahoe has done a masterful job over the past two years — clearing cap space, acquiring Drew Bledsoe, drafting well and securing quality veteran talent for the defense. Even if rookie running back Willis McGahee is out in shorts doing some drill work, it makes this stop a must. I think the Bills are poised to make a significant move this year, and I want to know this team inside and out.
Man held in linebacker’s slaying
‘Covington, who was living in Crofton, Md., was visiting friends at a Coachman Manor apartment on Gibbsboro Road when one of the residents answered the door. Three men with handguns rushed inside. They had hoped to rob the apartment of marijuana or money, prosecutors said.’
