"What were doing here is really the easy part. In free agency we've said repeatedly that we did a good job giving money away- that's not hard. Doing the draft isn't hard, it's fun, now the difficult part is that we have to put all of this together and it has to fit. There has to be the right chemistry. That's the big challenge. Things look good on paper but that doesn't really mean that much."

RB Willis McGahee Talks About Joining Bills
‘They (the Bills) have a good team. They contended for the Super Bowl, but unfortunately things didn’t go their way. They’re going to be back on top. I just want to be a contributor to the team."’
DE Chris Kelsay Press Conference
‘"We like him a lot and we are glad that he was there for our second pick. We think that Chris is a very good athlete for a DE. He’s going to bring some toughness to our team, which we are trying to get better at. He’s intelligent and he plays the game with a lot of passion and that’s also what we are trying to add to our team."’
DE Chris Kelsay Talks About Joining Bills
‘"I’m looking forward to it. I know they have a great offense and they are rebuilding the defense and picking up a few guys here and there. They are going to be in contention, and they have a lot of potential. I feel very honored to be a part of that and I’m looking forward for what’s in store for our future. I was kinda caught off guard when they (the Bills) picked a running-back. But, I’ve talked to the Bills a couple times and their media has gotten a hold of me a couple times. So I thought that there was some interest and I feel very grateful that they drafted me."’
McGahee’s out to prove skeptics wrong
‘"I’m expecting to go in the first round," he said. "I know I’m not going to go the second pick like I was supposed to, but all the things I did and how hard I’m working, I should be back in the first round."’
Everyone tells Jannie Jones that her son, Willis McGahee, lost $10…
‘Everyone tells Jannie Jones that her son, Willis McGahee, lost $10 million the night Ohio State safety Will Allen pummeled him in the national championship game, leaving the University of Miami’s greatest tailback with three torn knee ligaments and his NFL career in jeopardy.’
Ex-Husker girds for wait of draft
‘”His quickness off the line of scrimmage is remarkable and at times, it seems as if he knows the snap count better than the offensive linemen,” said draft analyst Patrick Kerney.’
Kelsay not believing the hype
‘Kiper has him going to the 49ers with the 26th pick in the first round. Rick Gosselin of the Dallas Morning News has him going to Denver with the 20th.’

Preparing for the Draft: Part 1
‘I’ve been told I could be picked anywhere from the middle of the first round to the end of the first round.’
Chris Kelsay Diary: Part II
‘I have a pretty good idea what to expect at the Combine. I know it is not going to be a lot of fun. I’m planning on a tiresome, grueling three or four days. But I know how important it is. Right now I’m hearing I could go as high as the middle of the first round, but there is still a long time before the draft. Grant Wistrom went into the combine projected in the middle of the first round a few years ago, had a great combine and ended up being picked sixth.’
