Edgerson made history when the regular season got underway. He became the first Bills player to record an interception in the opening game of his rookie season. In fact, he picked-off Houston quarterback George Blanda twice during that game. Edgerson finished the campaign with a career-high six interceptions and was one of four Bills named to the AFL’s all-rookie team.

Bills hope Ruel has golden touch with line

Ruel leaps at chance to coach Bills offensive line
”’I was on a ski slope one time, going down the mountain, thinking I was one of the top skiers in the world until I hit the tree,” he said. ”I’m just telling you right now, they can all get better. I’m going to help them achieve a higher standard, raise the bar a little higher and it’ll hopefully pay off.”’
