Josh Reed, Bills (36th overall): He was viewed as the most-polished of all the receivers in the draft, and he has lived up to that. Reed might not have the outstanding speed of some of the others in this class, but he makes up for it with his ability to separate from defensive backs with his great route running. The Bills love this kid and he should be the No. 3 receiver behind Eric Moulds and Peerless Price. Reed has made several nice plays in the preseason. Doesn’t look the part because he is a former running back with a thick body, but he understands the position.

"I had chicken wings for the first time on that Saturday (before the game). Hot, medium or mild?’

I think it has to be one of the best camps in the National Football League with the whole production. The fans have been outstanding and we really enjoy them having a good time when they come out to practice because training camp can be hard."’

‘They believe a year of endless kicking — starting with a full season in NFL Europe that ran right into the championship game, then winning the punting and kickoff jobs with the Bills in camp for another endless season — deadened his leg by October or so.’

‘They’re playing in a tough division but I think they’ll go 8-8.’
