Fan Q & A With Jay Riemersma
Riemersma: I think first and foremost is the excitement around here and I don't know if you would have had that without having Drew in here. He commands respect in the huddle and his presence in both the huddle and on the field is just phenomenal. It's just fun to play with him.
D-line out to prove itself
‘"(Last week) didn’t sit well with the D-line or the whole defense," rookie defensive tackle Justin Bannan said. "We had a lot of mental mistakes, but then again, that’s what preseason is for. That’s how you improve."’
Sullivan tackles new role with Bills
‘Sullivan’s best might be enough to keep Ostroski on the bench whenever the ninth-year veteran is cleared to come off the physically unable to perform list.’
Is Williams being up front about defensive line?
‘That Buffalo has interest in Price and Ahanotu merely concedes the obvious…this is the team’s area of weakness.’
NFL : One-on-one with Drew Bledsoe
‘”I don’t want this organization to ever get to the point where they say that the problem is at quarterback, let’s change the quarterback. Hopefully, they’ll never get to that. I’m very proud that this organization researched all their options and came to the conclusion that the best option was to trade for me.”‘
Clements ready to put up against Moss
‘"To be the best, you want to play against the best," he said following practice at St. John Fisher College. "I think me and Antoine (Winfield) are looking forward to seeing what he’s got."’
Lofton overdue to be enshrined in football hall
‘Lofton had the most receiving yards in history when he left Buffalo a decade ago. He’s now second to Jerry Rice on the list. He had 14,004 yards on 764 catches. He averaged 18.3 yards a reception, easily the highest of any player ranked among the top 20 in total catches.’

NFTA’s Bills buses will operate all season
‘The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority announced that Metro Bus will continue express service to all Buffalo Bills home games, including tonight’s preseason game against the Minnesota Vikings.’
They view Drew as the glue
‘If necessary, they seem prepared to play a shootout each week until their running game emerges, their offensive line solidifies and their young defense comes together.’
Bills aim to run as well as gun
‘Still, Bledsoe cannot win games without a productive running game, and the Bills know this. "I think the running game is going to be a big part of our success," starting running back Travis Henry said. "If we can get a good run game established we open it up for guys like Eric Moulds and Peerless Price."’
Bills notebook
‘"I’m still waiting for the Vikings game to go against Randy Moss, to see what all the hooting and hollering is all about," Clements said. "I think I can run with anyone in the league."’
