Chosen with Buffalo’s second pick in the first round of the 1986 draft, as it would turn out, the Vanderbilt star couldn’t have joined the club at a better time. Only six days after signing with the team, a quarterback named Jim Kelly also made his way to Buffalo.

Bills Off-Season Camp Report Archive
The Bills completed their third and final off-season camp on Friday, June 13. The next time the Bills take the field, the 42-year old franchise will be in Rochester, NY, for their third Training Camp at St. John Fisher College, which begins on July 24.
Rookies’ share is too much of the salary cap
The Buffalo Bills, for example, have 10 draft picks to sign; at the very least that’s $160,000 of extra cap space to make up.
