‘"It shows that he has some confidence in me," Price said. "Coach Williams and I have a great relationship. He’s on me a lot. He wants me to perform well. He thinks that I can perform at a high level, and that’s basically what he was throwing out there. It’s time for me to step up and have a big year."’

Bills regroup after preseason-opening loss
‘"Overall, we have a lot to work on and point to next week," Williams said as Buffalo resumes practicing at St. John Fisher College outside of Rochester, N.Y., on Tuesday. "We have to go back to training camp and concentrate on correcting the little things."’
Rookies Henry and O’Leary step up
‘With a new West Coast Offensive scheme under head Coach Gregg Williams and a new starting quarterback , Rob Johnson, it seems things are about to change for the Buffalo Bills. The players that will stand out and make the Bills final roster are the ones who step up here in the preseason.’
Quotes from game
"For sure you can see that there were too many negative plays here to start the ballgame out and throughout the ballgame. That’s not the way we like to play. I thought that I saw some good positive things to build on. I thought I saw Travis Henry run the ball pretty effectively."
Bills first round draft pick answers fans
‘I feel naturally I play aggressive, a lot of people say I play too aggressive. Naturally playing aggressive will help me to fit in to a solid defense.’
Interview with Bills alum Darryl Talley
"The camardamereship that I had with the guys that I played with and walking out on the field on Sunday or Monday nights, that is the best feeling in the world."

Bills still have a lot of work to do
‘Still, they out-gained the Bills, 375-173, in total yardage and were much more potent offensively, though trailing 10-7 with 14 minutes to play. As Williams noted, "We’ve got a lot to work on." And, clearly, he’s right.’
GoBills! Game Chat Filled to the Brink
We would like to give a special thanks to all the TBD, TSW, and Bills Daily readers who participated in the chat room last night. While we didn’t break the century mark, we did reach a peak of 98 simultaneous fans in the room! That easily tops any of our chat sessions last year. Last night was a great success and we hope we can top that number this Saturday when the Bills take on the Eagles.
Aug. 12: Bills vs. Rams pre-season photos
Photos from the game.
Rams defeat Bills 24-10 in Buffalo’s pre-season opener
‘St. Louis recorded 17 points in the fourth quarter, giving the Rams a 24-10 win over Buffalo in front of 36,043 at Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Rams turned a 10-7 deficit early in the fourth with a Justin Watson touchdown, a Jeff Wilkins field goal and Chris Cummings kickoff fumble recovery for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to drop the Bills to 0-1 on the pre-season. ‘
Henry provides only excitement in Bills’ loss
‘Travis Henry took Round One of the Buffalo running back derby, and the Bills suffered no serious injuries Sunday night. Those were the most significant developments in the Bills’ preseason opener at Ralph Wilson Stadium.’
Punting prospects find their legs
‘Brian Moorman and Jay Taylor had their first opportunity to show they deserve the job Sunday night during the Bills’ 24-10 preseason-opening loss to the St. Louis Rams at Ralph Wilson Stadium. For the most part, it was a good audition for both.’
It’s clear the rookie is the Bills’ best back
‘It’s only the first preseason game, but the Bills have a long way to go to justify Williams’ contention that they’re a playoff team. The good news is that rookie Travis Henry looks like the answer at the crowded tailback position.’
Larsen comes to life on defense
‘But Larsen realizes he can gain playing time by being disruptive, which he was for one series Sunday in the Bills’ 24-10 loss to the St. Louis Rams at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Larsen, the second-year player out of UTEP, played well despite being hampered by a groin injury since the beginning of the Bills’ rookie camp.’
