Titans sign Linton to be George’s backup
The Tennessee Titans have found their backup to running back Eddie George.
The Titans signed former Buffalo Bills running back Jonathan Linton on Friday to a six-year contract worth $3.7 million including a $1.5 million signing bonus.
Linton’s deal can be voided after five years. He is scheduled to make $209,000 his first season, $298,000 his second, $389,000 his third, $418,000 his fourth, $448,000 his fifth and $477,000 his sixth.

The Buffalo Bills and the Town of Pittsford announced today the First Annual Town of Pittsford/Buffalo Bills Parade will be held on Friday, July 27 at 6:00 PM.
Participants in the parade will be Bills President/General Manager Tom Donahoe, Head Coach Gregg Williams, guard Ruben Brown and the 2001 Rookies.
