Williams signs five-year extension
Reserve nose tackle Pat Williams signed a five-year contract extension with the Bills on Wednesday. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. In February, Williams was tendered a high offer in the $1 million-range as a restricted free agent.

Jonathan Linton said he would miss Ruben Brown if he jumped to another team. But he added fans shouldn’t read into Brown’s still-unsigned status as an indication that he might re-sign with Buffalo.

The Bills are expecting big things from Peerless Price this season. That’s OK, because Price is expecting big things from himself. In the Wild Card game against Tennessee in January, Price had a game-high five catches for 62 yards, including two clutch receptions for 23 yards on the final drive.

Backup defensive lineman Sean Moran agreed to a two-year, $1.5 million contract with the Rams on Wednesday, which includes a $600,000 signing bonus. The unrestricted free agent will be a third defensive end for the Super Bowl champions.
